13 of us from BLC took the opportunity to do God's work by cleaning up this
formerly trashed location. To our surprise, there was more than one site and
the project yielded way more trash than we expected. WAY MORE TRASH!

In all we removed 25 bags of trash, two tires, a plastic tarp, and some shingles.

Half the debris was recycled at the Acme transfer station:

Half the debris was placed in the dumpster at BLC:

Except for the non-venomous Northern Water Snake which we released in the woods:

It was great day and God blessed us with cool temps and light winds.

No snakes were harmed during this project.
