Brad Fisk showed me 7 areas where we need to place trash cans to help the homeless and locals have
a place to put there trash downtown to keep it out of the river.

We got permission to place two cans at the North Union Street Bridge and at the southwest corner of
the Central United Methodist Church parking lot above the Union Street Dam.

Immediately, the areas where the cans were placed became cleaner. The people thanked us for placing
them. The CUMC gave us permission to use their dumpster and the NCF offered to continue to finance
the project.

This project has not been without problems but we have kept more trash out of the river than we had hoped to.
