On October 10, 2015, we found several rubber duckies in the river near Ranch Rudolf during
a family outing. We asked about it and were told that the Rubber Ducky Race was a fund rasier
for an equestrian organization - which is ok with us.

They did do a good job of getting out all the duckies that got to the finish line but failed to
get the ones that didn't make it. That could have been expensive since the law is clear about
fines for littering. These 20 duckies could have cost them $16000.00.

We are happy to help folks do fund raisers but littering the river is not a good way to do it
since it could cost them far more than they raised in order to pay the fines.

We have asked Ranch Rudolf to contact us the next time they do this event and we will help them clear
the river of errant duckies so they do not run afoul of the DNR and its very strick littering fines.
