Right after Lois and John died, Harold Lassers and I decided that some sort of memorial would be appropriate.
We came up with the idea that a Memorial Plaque would be a good way to do it. Of course, plaques are not allowed
the USFS National Forests. So the work around was that we got permission from the Wexford County Road
Commission Engineers to place the plaque on a bridge abutment which is 1" outside the National Forest but
adjacent to Dobson Landing on the Pine River.

We did some brain storming and decided on a plan which worked surprisingly well. We had to wait all winter
and Spring until it got warm enough to use epoxys outside. It turned out quite nicely.

Lois and John would approve.
