This is the section that of the BRCS that Lois and John always led and they always did it on the day I had
Jackie took it on this year and I was able to paddle this section for the first time in many years. It was great!
Even though two of the people who were supposed to be there today were missing due to medical reasons, we
There were just 8 of us and that was just right for this section.
The newly retired, Steve Largent of the GTCD, joined us unofficially for this trip and I had the great pleasure of paddling
We dropped that heavy stuff at points along the river with the permissison of the property owners, who Seve knew,
Steve and I found three new large pieces of construction debris that were too big to move without dismantling them.
They are at these locations:
1. Heavy 6X6 - Earthern Works - looks like a part of Shumsky landing that washed out.
2. Set of Steps near Boardman Plains Rd Bridge on river left.
3. Part of a big deck - Very heavily constructed - lots of 2x10s.
It was fun day and one without mishap.
