The first thing that happened is that we ran into some guys Norm knew and he got thier picture.
They helped us unlod our boats and gear.

5 of us including our shuttle driver, Marvin, came to this cleanup but it was a great group of people
and ones that got the job done.

We were supposed to paddle with the kids from Kingsley but their teacher got hurt and they had
to cancel. We did have one teenager with us and she paddled tandem with Norm and she did GREAT!

This section was remarkably free of debris and we only found 2 small pieces in all.

At Brown Bridge, everyone helped each other and the landing was very easy this time.

We presented Jane Kurkowski, a TC Central High School senior, with the Traverse Area Paddle Club Lois
Goldstein and John Heiam Memorial Kayak and Paddle for which Jane was quite surprised and grateful.
