Today, Steve Largent called and said he found a sofa in a ravine up on Garns Rd off Hoosier Valley Rd. It was a warm
dry day, so we decided to go for it.

We used Steve Largent's brand new bright blue truck to get up that nasty hill and his capstan winch to pull the sofa up the steep
bank of the ravine. After a few failed attempts, we finally got it hooked up right so it would not flip over and it came out very cleanly.
We used Steve's heavy plastic "Nose Cone" that fits on the front of the sofa that helps it jump the stumps and rocks. That really helped.

We placed a DNR "NO DUMPING" sign and a cellular camera at the site and we took the sofa to Mill Rd for disposal. We will monitor
this site.

This was our second project for 2024 and it was great to be out in the woods working again after a weird but long winter.
