I got a report from the GTCD that they had found 5 docks in the Grasshopper Creek area and they needed some help
We used the GTCD canoes and all their equipment that we have gotten from MICORPS Grants in the past. What a blessing
It was a fun and easy project since all the docks came out of the logjams fairly easily. We had the right stuff and enough
The pieces of docks were very heavy, so I didn't do much of the lifting. I let the young guys do that.
After Paul and I left, the others found 5 more docks stuck on a railroad bridge which they added to the ones we got.

Thank you to the DNR for letting us use their Dumpters to dispose of this river debris.
getting them to a place where they could put them in a trailer for disposal. I was more than happy to comply.
that grant program has been to us and to the Boardman River.
boats to bring them safely to the landing area where we have parked the truck and the big dump trailer.
All of them were disposed of at the DNR Dump area on Mill Rd.
