Today, Ev and I drove down to Gladwin to be volunteers at a cleanup on the Golden Cedar River led by the

Ike's Mobile Kayak Rentals
provided the kayaks for the volunteers, free of charge for the 6th time, to do this cleanup.
WOW! What a great group of people.
We had 15 people show up, 12 from the Midland and Gladwin area and 3 came from the BRCS/TAPC
I got some great photos but the best one was missed because my camera battery died but others got it.
What happened is that we found a round picnic table in a logjam and we left it since it was so heavy but one
How he did that without flipping or sinking is a some sort of miracle.
In all we took at least 450 pounds of trash (or more) out of the river.
The City of Galdwin's Parks and Rec disposed of the trash for us.
