I got a call from Amanda Weaver who is the DNR CO for Benzie County. She asked if I could help her clean up two
illegal dumpsites sites in Benzie County near Interlochen. My answer was "Of course."

6 of us met at Tom's Market in Interlochen and carpooled to the sites.

SITE #1 on Betsie River Road

The First Site is here

We found very large and heavy household debris and some 5 gallon buckets of bio-harzarous waste (toilet effluvia).
There was too much to get in the trailer, so we dismantled all the wooden furniture and put the pieces in the steamer
trunks we found there.

SITE #2 on S Reynolds Road

This site was smaller but more difficult to access due to the sandy 2 track and it had some amusing stuff in it that we enjoyed,
maybe a bit too much.

The trash was disposed of into a dumpster at the DNR field office on Mill Rd.
