When we did the cleanup on the North Branch of the AuSable River, we found more trash than ever before.

We also saw more paddlers than ever before.

We are convinced this is due to the new landing at Lovells Bridge.

I spoke with the supervisor of Lovells Township, Gary Neumann, on the phone. I asked him to let us place a trash can
down by the river to try to mitigate the damage the new landing is causing. He agreed. I delivered and placed it today.
