Jacqui wanted to take her friend, Melonie from NY who had never been on a river before, on a river paddle trip.
Andrew wanted to try fly fishing the SBR for the first time. He found fly fishing in a canoe frustrating.
John just wanted to do a paddle trip during his late summer vacation. He was as happy as a clam.
And I wanted to satisfy my obligation to Josh Greenberg at the Gates Lodge because I had told him that the BRCS
It was a perfect day and we had fun.
The river was exceptionaly free of litter.
We cleaned the river and it was over much too quickly.

Thanks to the DNR in Grayling for the key to the Castle Gate. That made it A LOT easier.
from Westminster Camp in Roscommon. and one in September with the Anglers of the AuSable so we can have some
fun on the river and also partake of the big party they throw at The Gates Lodge. But this has not been an "Every Summer"
year. The Delta Covid surge stopped us in our tracks but we were determined to do at least one cleanup on the SBR.
